Our preschool is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Teacher to oversee our classroom of young children. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment that fosters a love of learning for all children in our care. This individual will lead a team of assistant teachers and work collaboratively with parents and families to ensure each child’s success.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that align with our program’s philosophy and state standards
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers in the classroom
• Conduct regular assessments of children’s progress and maintain accurate records of their development
• Communicate regularly with parents and families about their child’s progress and needs
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required
• Adhere to all state licensing requirements and maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
