The residents of Littlefield are determined to fulfill their needs of their community. In 2006, local residents formed the Littlefield Community Association to revitalize the Littlefield Playground. They also submitted an application and budget to MDOT’s Safe Routes to School program for their local elementary school, Noble Elementary-Middle School. Littlefield Community Association collaborated with over 15 block clubs and associations to inspire community residents to build healthier lives and neighborhoods through education, community involvement, and community sustainability. This neighborhood comes together to ensure the safety and success of their children. Brilliant Detroit is excited to join this effort.
